Meet Esse

Author, founder, film producer and game creator

Esse is the founder of British Isles Publishing, and its beating heart. He loves books and began reading early, and at three and a half Esse decided to start authoring and recording his own stories at bedtime.

Not long after that Esse decided to publish his stories, and after his book was ignored by publishers like Penguin, he chose to establish his own publishing house, which he named British Isles Publishing and painted the logo himself.

Since then, Esse has expanded into film production, bringing his stories to life on screen, and game development, creating interactive adventures for players of all ages.

Esse wants British Isles Publishing to publish other young authors and creators. In 2025 he launched the Very Young Authors' Competition, crowning Forest Aria Last winner.
